Sago Pearl Pudding

Tuan rumah tak ada mood nk berceloteh banyak2.. Mood tarak.. mesti ada yg kata kerana bulan mengambang kan.. silap ler.. Bulan lambat lg nak mengambang :) .. Ada sapa2 nk pujuk tak? Bak roses kuning sedozen dua ke.. baru terpujuk mood yg lari .. chewaahhhh..


ermmm.. kalau tak leh gak sedozen,
bg banyak ni pun tak per dah..

Jom kita layan puding dulu...




SAGO PEARL PUDDING by Gert

Ingredients :
20 grm of agar agar powder
1000 ml water
300 grm of sugar
3 pandan leaves
100 grm of sago (soaked for 2 hours)
250 ml of thick coconut milk
A few drop of green/red/purple coloring

Method :
1) Cook sago until transparent and rinse under cold water. Divide sago into 6 portions. Add purple, red and green coloring into each portion. The other 3 portions remain white.
2) Boil agar-agar powder with water, pandan leaves and sugar and then add in coconut milk. Bring to boil and turn heat to very low flame.
3) Take 200ml of the agar agar mixture and add in one portion of the white sago. Stir well.
4) Pour into a 8" wet baking pan or mould. Let it coagulate.
5) Scratch the surface with a fork.
6) Take another 200ml of the agar-agar mixture and add in the purple color sago. Stir well and pour on top of the white layer and let it coagulate.
7) Continue the same process - 3rd layer will be white, 4th will be green, 5th will be white and the final layer will be red.
8) Chill in the fridge before slicing. Serve cold.

    Akak, I've seen some colorful sago soaked and packed being sold in Tesco...is it the same with yang akak guna ker??? ermmm confuse la Love! huhuhu :(

    love >> sago ni ada banyak saiz dan kaler. ada yg kecik2 halus jer dan ada yg besar sket yg biasa org letak dlm ABC etc..

    yg k.nor guna ni yg kecik2 jer tu dn berwarna putih supaya senang nk letak dlm mana2 lapisan.

    boleh jugak kalau love nk guna kaler2 yg berbeza. tp cerewet sket la sbb kita nk main banyak layer/kaler. contohnya, kalau utk layer pink kena guna sago kaler pink, takkan nk guna kaler ijau lak kan.. so bila kita guna yg kaler putih, lebih senang, kita boleh guna dlm mana2 kaler layer tu..

    sagu2 ni gak boleh kita guna dlm bubur jagung, bubur chacha.

    satu kaedah masak menggunakan sago ni love, lepas dah rendam, kena bilas2kan dulu kasi hilang tepung2 putih yg keluar. kalau tak nanti pekat semacam jer bubur or desert kita..
